SATURDAY 25th MAY – Soap Making Workshop

SOAP MAKER, MIXED MEDIA ARTIST – Owner of House of Artisan

Join us for an exhilarating Workshop coinciding with the renowned Goomeri Pumpkin Festival on Saturday! While you immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of this region, set aside 4 hours to indulge in learning the art of creating your own soap. Don’t miss out on updates; subscribe to the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival website at

Introducing Melek, the talented owner of OSKA + WILLOW, based in Goomeri, who has been crafting exquisite soaps for nearly 12 years. Her journey began from a need to develop skincare products brimming with nourishing ingredients beneficial for the skin.

Melek will lead you through a comprehensive 4-hour workshop, unravelling the intricacies of cold process soap making. You’ll grasp the fundamentals of creating a batch of soap, yielding 5 bars, using the time-honoured technique of cold process soap making.

This workshop caters to beginners; no prior experience is necessary. You’ll walk away with 900 grams/5 bars of soap, the silicone mould used in the process, and a basic recipe to further explore your soap-making skills if desired.

Rest assured, all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye protection, gloves, and aprons, will be provided. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and avoiding loose sleeves that may hinder your soap-making process.

Prepare to enjoy the wealth of experience, experimentation, and insights that Jenai shares in this exceptional botanical workshop!
